OUR STORY

ONABSE was founded in 2013 by a collective of Afro-Canadians who had a shared vision: to improve the educational experience of Afro-Canadian students and their families, and to facilitate a coalition of Black educators across Ontario. 

ONABSE is an affiliate of NABSE, the National Alliance of Black School Educators which was formed in 1970 in Chicago, Illinois.
